Raw Black Metal Channel
Raw/atmospheric American black metal. I found this criminally underrated: the songwriting and atmospheres are very deep and well crafted.
Raw Black Metal Channel recommends this!

Long shadows point away from my Tower,
while all roads lead to it.
On eternal watch, from this belfry, high above my beloved town.
Eons pass unnoticed,
seconds crawl like the moss that grows on these sacred walls.
My self-imposed prison.
My holy sanctuary.
Ever standing watch over the multitudes of souls, as they pass through the ages.
The mighty hands of the clock,
unfaltering, infallible, ceaseless.
The infinite tick tick ticking, once maddening, now my constant companion.
My lullaby. My breath. My heart.
Charged with duties of grave importance.
The powerful gears must be kept flawlessly turning,
lubricated with the blood of those moved on.
An honorable fate for their mortal fluid.
These souls reside within the Clocktower,
within me, caretaker of all.
The sprawling histories must be recorded,
the countless tales must never be lost to the incessant march of time.
They must live within the fabric,
until the fabric is no more.
Above all, the narrative must be shared.
The many sagas must be told.
Revered. Remembered.
Lives lived, heroes, villains, hope, despair, death.
Transcribed by the glow of a candle placed within a skull;
After all, what is man?
I, Myghûl the Drowned, forevermore tasked with upholding these sacred undertakings, shall remain here, steadfast and devoted.
Always.
Unfailingly committed to my town and my Tower.
I am protector.
I am scribe.
I am orator.
I am watcher.
I am the Clocktower of Hiraeth,
and it is me.

never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too. alienasu

Jordan Vauvert

Probably the best in the Fugitive's repertoire of raw, symphonic, buzzsaw poems of dark fantasy. May it have its knightly tinge, it appears to be a more somber exposition in my mind's eye. The first track envisaged for me, a grim and hopeless struggle of a bloody and dirtied knight, the listener, fighting an uphill battle in darkness that has all but extinguished his or her inner light. Despite setback, the warrior stands time and again, and embraces the agonizing woe of assiduity. Shoigunjinsho
